You can visit the Baba Budana Giri Hills located in this area. Those who love trekking can follow the trekking trail between Baba Budana Giri and Mullayanagiri, the highest peak in the Baba Budana Giri range. Situated at the height of 1930 m, Mullayanagiri is the highest peak in the state of Karnataka. There is a temple of Baba Budana located near this peak, which is considered to be a holy place by the local people. It is said that during the 17th century, A Sufi saint named Baba Budan had meditated at this place for many years.
The Manikyadhara Falls situated on the Baba Budana Giri Hills near Kemmangundi is located 40 km from the town of Chikmagalur. It is another major tourist attraction. The Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary located 30 km away is also worth a visit.
